On Tuesday, November 2, Arizona Health and Physical Education will have the honor of two of our profession’s outstanding leaders present Pre-Convention Workshops.
Maria Corte, Mesa High School will present a Secondary Workshop starting at 9:00 am. This session will be an action-packed experience as we look back on what we did before the pandemic, as well as where we are going moving into the future. You will leave this session with several effective K-12 activities and management strategies using all teaching models! Don’t miss out on this Back to the Future Experience!
Dr. Aaron Beighle, University of Kentucky will present an Elementary Workshop starting at 1:00 pm. After an unprecedented 18 months, our students need school, physical education, and most importantly US, now more than ever. This dynamic session will provide energizing strategies, activities, and methods for creating just the right learning environment for your students.
Join us for both sessions for a fee of $40. You will receive a professional development certificate of 5 hours. If you can only make it for one or the other, the fee is $25 each and you will receive a professional development certificate of 2.5 each.
