On behalf of President Lynn Preble, Past-President Keri Schoeff and Awards Chair Vicky Bonavito, we would like to announce that the Past-Presidents Dinner and the Teacher of the Year Awards have merged and will now be known as the HONOR AND RECOGNITION NIGHT.
This event will move from the Phoenix Convention Center to the Children’s Museum of Phoenix, located at 215 N. 7th St. The new Honor and Recognition Night will give us the opportunity to honor past-presidents of Arizona Health and Physical Education and all that has been accomplished for over 80 years and to recognize a new generation and their achievements.
The HONOR AND RECOGNITION NIGHT will be on Tuesday, October 23rd, 2018 beginning with a reception at 6 p.m., then recognition and award presentations starting at 7 p.m.
Tickets will be available starting September 1st on the state convention page, www.azhpe.org/state. Individuals being honored and recognized will be receive two complimentary tickets prior to the event.
