Join us Friday, October 27th at the Phoenix Convention Center West Building for the Dr. Charles B. “Chuck” Corbin Scholar Lecture, featuring Josh Meibos.
Josh Meibos is the Beginning Teacher Mentor & Induction program director at the Arizona K12 Center. Prior to coming to the Center, Josh taught K-8 physical education for 12 years. In 2017, Josh received his National Board Certification in Early Middle Childhood Physical Education. In 2018 Josh was named Arizona Educational Foundation’s Arizona Teacher of the Year, and in 2020, Josh was honored with Arizona Health and Physical Education’s Middle School Teacher of the Year. Josh received a Bachelor’s degree from Utah State University, a Masters from Arizona State University, and an Honorary Doctorate from Northern Arizona University. Josh lives in Tempe and enjoys skiing in the winter, swimming in the summer, and eating guacamole all year long.
