Individuals nominated must be current members. Using the criteria given by individual nominating, a rubrics will be used to determine each year’s recipient. This award would be given to any current Future Professional enrolled in 15 credit hours as an undergraduate or 12 credits as a graduate student at the time of their nomination.
The nominee should display the following traits.
1. Life-long learner, making a point to attend a professional conference, workshop, or convention.
2. Serve in a leadership role with children.
3. Connect and network.
4. Go above and beyond! Engage in activities during student teaching that indicates that you’ve done more than what the job called for.
