64 days! Wait! What? Only 64 days until the 2021 Arizona Health and Physical Education State Convention is here! That may seem like plenty of time, but for those of us working hard on a daily basis to bring you the best show yet, it will be here way too soon. We have over 50 amazing sessions, 2 top-notch keynotes, and one blowout social! But wait, there’s more! We have several exciting exhibitors ready to show you their wares. Let’s take a look at who we have so far:
One partner who has gone above and beyond is The Dairy Council of Arizona. The Dairy Council is sponsoring the food and our plaques for our Honor and Recognition Night at The Children’s Museum of Phoenix. The Dairy Council and Pat Johnson are partners that are always there for us. “Hey Pat, how would you like to present at a workshop?” “Sure!” Always the response from Pat. The Dairy Council of AZ does amazing work for our schools with the Fuel Up to Play 60 program. Be sure to stop by her booth.
Barbara McCarney and Polar Sports is another gracious organization that will be providing a special gift in the convention bags. You will definitely want to be one of the first 250 to check in to receive their cool gift. Be sure to also visit Barb at the Polar booth to check out the latest in heart rate monitors for your classes.
New to our convention this year is Outdoors Tomorrow Foundation. Scott McClure will be here to show you how you can bring the outdoors to your classroom. Outdoors Tomorrow Foundation has also been kind enough to provide another gift which will be in attendees’ bags when they check in.
Step It Up Kids is a new partnership we have recently established. They are the organization running one of our new fundraisers Game On! Jason Markus has made an impact in the short time we have been working together. Jason can answer any questions you have regarding the newest fundraiser, be sure to see him at his booth.
Ready to see the latest and greatest in physical education equipment? Gopher Sport will be on hand to help you find what you need to supply your classroom. Be sure to say hi to Adam Herbst when you stop by their booth.
We are super excited to bring to you 9 Square in the Air. If you have never seen this game, you are in for a real treat. This game is guaranteed to get students moving and engaged. Niki Hughes will be ready to show you how.
An absolute favorite of mine is Omnikin. The true game on KinBall is so fun to play and an all-inclusive game for your students. Scott Williams will be here to highlight the different activities you can do with an Omnikin Ball.
We will have Heart Tech Plus in our exhibit hall this year. Corey Mortensen will help you find the best heart rate or pedometer for your needs.
Palos Sports is joining us again. Palos and School Health can help you with your equipment needs and Donato Salvucci will be at the booth so be sure to stop in.
Pickleball, need I say more? The latest rage in net sports will be well represented this year in the exhibit hall with USA Pickleball Association (USAPA). Jason Jamison, Denise Smith, and Larry Lite will be sure to help you with all of your pickleball questions.
My friend Lois Mauch will be sure to hook you up, literally, to the latest in student assessment using heart rate monitors. IHT has a fantastic line of monitors that will help you assess students in a much truer way. Let her show you how.
Tennis anyone? Our friends at United States Tennis Association- Southwest will be happy to show you their curriculum and equipment packs. Kelsey Richman will be manning the booth to lend you a hand.
Sandy “Spin” Slade is back! We love it when Sandy can make it to our convention. She will be presenting Skillastics in the exhibit hall as well as conducting a few sessions. Be sure to stop by and say hi.
Who doesn’t love speed Stacking? We have Speed Stacks returning and Matt Burk will be happy to take you on in a Stack challenge!
A new exhibitor for us this year is Allball, an exciting game you will want to introduce to your classes. Anthony Cerbo will be manning the booth as well as having a session for you to try out the game.
Returning also this year is Goodheart-Willcox Publishing. Theresa Thompson can help you find what you need for resources in your classroom.
Marathon Kids will be providing information in your attendee bag. If you are interested in a running club in your school they can help you get it off and running!

We will be having an exciting new feature in the exhibit hall this year. There will be a Demo area where exhibitors can set up some of their exciting games and activities for you to try out. Be sure to come by and see what’s happening in the Demo area.
